Hints and Tips
Welcome to the hints and tips page, where I will post some ideas that have helped me in the past. I hope they help you too.
Using nail art brushes
I
love using nail art brushes. They help to create some beautiful and
detailed designs. I'm sure that you, like me, have found that one hand
ends up much neater than the other (and I like my nails to look even.)
So how do we solve this....
I have a couple of tips that have helped me develop my nail art skill and that I still use.
1, Get some practice at using your less dominant hand, even drawing will help to get the fine motor skills going. Then practice on whoever is willing :)
2,
Don't use the brush on your less dominant hand, use the pin hole top.
You can control the flow better and the paint is less likely to spread
in funny directions.
3, It may seem silly but using a guide line, like a piece of card (more rigid than paper.)
So how about it, get your right or left hand stronger and rock the nail art look.
Show me how you get on; I'd love to see some photos too!

Getting nail polish off your fingers
No matter how many times you paint your nails, there is always an occasion where you get polish on your finger or cuticle. There is a simple way of sorting this out. Use a cotton bud dipped in nail polish remover to have more control of where you are using it. This way the polish will come off your finger and not your nail!
A really simple solution to an annoying problem :)
